Reverse polarity protection
Short circuit protection
It features 2 independent charging banks, able to perform different functions simultaneously. This means you can charge 2 unique sets of 2 batteries. eg. you can put 2 NiMH or NiCd AA in one bank and 2 NiMH or NiCd AAA in the other. Plus you can charge 2 PP3 at the same time.
